TPT Remote Support


Step 1

Download

Click the link above to download our remote support software. If prompted, choose to run the file, otherwise save it and run it after the download has completed.

Step 2

When you choose to run the file you have downloaded above, you may be prompted with this message. Choose to Run it.

Step 3

The installation will begin. Press the Next button.

Step 4

Choose Both of the above and click Next.

Step 5

Tick the box saying I accept the terms of the License Agreement and then click Next. The software will now install.

Step 6

Installation will complete on its own, and then will launch the installed software. It may take a few minutes, but please be patient and avoid clicking elsewhere to prevent hiding the window behind your browser. If this does not appear after a few minutes, close other windows that are open.

Click Next to continue.

Step 7

Computer name: A name that will describe your computer to us. Please note that we may already have half a dozen computers called "reception" in our system already, so please provide a more descriptive name, preferably including your business name.

Password: Please specify a secure password, keeping in mind that this password is all that could prevent someone else from accessing your computer. We do not ever need to use or know this password, so you may make it large and random if necessary.

Click Next.

Step 8

Click Finish to proceed to the next step.

Step 9

You will now be prompted to allow Turning Point Technology access to your device. Please ensure you click Allow and finish.

Step 10

You should now see the TPTech Remote Support window. Please ensure at the bottom left, there is a green dot stating "Ready to connect", if this appears red please contact us to investigate.

Click OK to close this window. And then click on the tray notification that pops up in the bottom right corner of your screen to stop this message from continually showing.

Proceed to the next step.

Step 11

In your system tray at the bottom right of your screen, you will have a series of icons (you may need to click the arrow to see a full list), RIGHT-CLICK on the Teamviewer icon (looks like this: Teamviewer) and choose Options.

Step 12

On the window that pops up, choose Security from the left hand list. Then, CHECK the box that says "Grant Turning Point Technology easy access". Then click OK.

Complete!

Your remote administration setup has now been completed and we should be able to gain access to your computer remotely. Please provide us with the Computer Name you specified in step 7 so that we are able to easily locate you in our system.
